Arsenal also won their mid-week match 4-0 against Brighton, keeping them in the hunt for UWCL. Sabrina D’Angelo was on the bench for that match. On Sunday, Chelsea and Manchester United traveled to Wembley for the FA Cup final. Jayde Riviere did not feature for United, but Fleming earned the start and Buchanan came on for the final few minutes. It was a tight match, and the final score was 1-0 in favour of Chelsea.

Marie-Yasmin Alidou scored the game-winner for Famalicão in a 2-1 win against Valdares. Cloé Lacasse and Benfica won 5-1 against fellow Canadian Lysianne Proulx and Torreense, with Lacasse scoring one goal.

Clarissa Larisey played 83 minutes for Häcken in a 2-2 draw with Rosengård. Evelyne Viens went head to head with Sarah Stratigakis and Sura Yekka as Kristianstads drew 1-1 with Vittsjö. In that match, Viens scored Kristainstads’ lone goal.

In a midweek Challenge Cup match, the Washington Spirit took on the Orlando Pride. Gabrielle Carle was on the bench, and Amanda Allen earned her first professional start. In the end, Washington won 3-2. In regular season matches, the Chicago Red Stars suffered a 3-0 loss at the hands of Racing Louisville. It was Louisville’s first win of the 2023 season. Bianca St-Georges played the first half for Chicago in the loss. There was a Canadian clash as the Houston Dash took on the Portland Thorns. Allysha Chapman and Sophie Schmidt played the full match for the Dash as they won 2-1. On the other side, Christine Sinclair and Adriana Leon came off the bench at 58 and 70 minutes, respectively. In a match that went down to the wire, Gabrielle Carle played the entire match for the Washington Spirit as they won 1-0 against Angel City. There was another Canadian matchup as the Courage won 1-0 against OL Reign. Sydney Collins was not in the roster for the Courage, but Victoria Pickett came on in the 74th minute. For the Reign, Jordyn Huitema earned the start—and in great news, Quinn returned from their injury to play the last half hour. After starting midweek, Allen remained on the bench for the Pride’s 0-0 draw with Gotham. Lastly, Kailen Sheridan kept the clean sheet for the San Diego Wave in a 2-0 win against Kansas City.
