Portugal

There was a Canadian Clash in the second leg of the Taça de Portugal de Futebol Feminina as Marie Alidou’s Benfica took on Olivia Smith’s Sporting. Smith scored for Sporting to help her team equalize, but the 1-1 draw was insufficient for Sporting to progress as Benfica had a 1-0 lead from the first leg. Alidou and Benfica will face Racing Almada in the final on 18 May.
