UWCL
The second leg of the UWCL semi-finals took place this week. Chelsea, up 1-0, faced off against Barcelona. Both Ashley Lawrence and Kadeisha Buchanan had the start. Lawrence played 84 minutes and unfortunately, Buchanan was sent off in the 59th minute after receiving her second yellow card of the match. Chelsea would lose the game 2-0, and thusly the semi-final 2-1 on aggregate.
Meanwhile Vanessa Gilles and Lyon, up 3-2 on PSG, won their second game 2-1, a 5-3 win on aggregate. Gilles had the start and played the full game. Gilles and Lyon will play Barcelona in the final on May 25th.
DIV 1
Latifah Abdu was not available for Dijon this week in their 1-1 draw against Reims.

Vanessa Gilles had the start for Lyon in their 2-1 win against Guingamp.
NWSL
Gabrielle Carle played 62 minutes for the Washington Spirit in their 3-2 loss to the Orlando Pride.
Kansas City continues their undefeated streak with a 3-1 win over Angel City. Megan Reid had the start and played the full 90 for Angel City, and both Desiree Scott and Nichelle Prince were unavailable for Kansas City.
In a Canadian Clash, Bianca St-Georges and the North Carolina Courage played Jordyn Huitema and Quinn’s Seattle Reign. St-Georges had the start and played 62 minutes for the Courage. Jordyn Huitema remains unavailable for the Reign with her back injury, and though Quinn had the start, they were subbed off in the 5th minute with a knee injury. There is no official word yet as to the injury, but the Reign do not think it is an ACL. The Courage would go on to win the game 1-0.

Things look to be improving for the Thorns as they recorded their second win, and first clean sheet, of the season. Christine Sinclair had the start, subbing off at half time for Janine Beckie, and Jessie Fleming played 60 minutes. What looked to be an injury sub for Fleming turned out to be precautionary as the Thorns will have 3 games this week. Christine Sinclair earned the assist on the Thorns’ second goal in their 2-0 win over the Chicago Red Stars. Beckie had what looked like the Thorns’ third goal, though it was called off due to a handball on Sophia Smith.
Sophie Schmidt had the start and played the full 90 for the Houston Dash in their 0-0 draw with the Utah Royals. Allysha Chapman was unavailable as she remains on maternity leave.

In our first Canadian Keeper Clash, Kailen Sheridan was in net for the Wave and Lysianne Proulx was in net for the Bay. The Wave would come out on top with a 2-1 win.
SERIE A
Julia Grosso had the start and played the full game for Juventus in their 2-0 loss to Inter. While Evelyne Viens’ Roma was not in action this week, Juventus loss guarantees that Roma will win the league this season.
LIGA BPI
Marie Alidou’s Benfica won 4-0 over Vilaverdense.
Olivia Smith had two goals and an assist in Sporting’s 7-0 win over Martímo. Smith had the start and played 61 minutes.
Melissa Dagenais was in net for Damaiense in their 3-3 draw with Torreense.
WSL
Cloé Lacasse came on in the 64th minute for Arsenal in their 1-1 draw with Everton. Sabrina D’Angelo was not available for Arsenal.
In a WSL Canadian Clash, Adriana Leon’s Aston Villa played Shelina Zadorsky’s West Ham in a 1-1 draw. Leon had the start, playing 69 minutes, and Zadorsky had the start and played 81 minutes.
Leicester City lost 1-0 to Manchester United, Deanne Rose came on in the 69th minute for Leicester and Jayde Riviere was unavailable for Manchester Unite4d due to injury.
DAMALLSVENSKAN
Clarissa Larisey came on for the final 14 minutes for BK Häcken in their 3-1 win over Piteá IF.
