ENGLAND – WSL
Chelsea defeated Arsenal 2-1, Ashley Lawrence entered in the 89th minute. Kadeisha Buchanan played the full game and had one of her best appearances in a Chelsea shirt.
Manchester United defeated Tottenham Hotspurs 3-0. Simi Awujo entered in the 76th minute and Jayde Riviere was unavailable due to injury. Sabrina D’Angelo kept the clean sheet for Aston Villa in their 0-0 draw with Leicester. For Villa, Adriana Leon entered in the 61st minute and for Leicester, Deanne Rose entered in the 57th minute.

Olivia Smith played the first half in Liverpool’s 2-1 loss to Manchester City. Smith scored the lone goal for Liverpool, marking the first ever women’s team goal at Anfield. Shelina Zadorsky played the full game for West Ham in their 1-1 draw with Everton.
FRANCE – DIV 1
Vanessa Gilles played the second half for Lyon in their 3-0 win over Dijon. Latifah Abdu played the full game for Guingamp in their 4-1 loss to Fluery Merogis U.S.
Italy – SERIE A
There was a Canadian Clash this week in Serie A, with Lysianne Proulx’s Juventus defeating Evelyne Viens’ AS Roma. Proulx served as the backup keeper for Juventus and Viens played 67 minutes for Roma.

PORTUGUAL – LIGA BPI
Marie Alidou played 55 minutes for Benfica in their 4-0 win over Vilaverdense. Melissa Dagenais was the backup keeper for Damaiense in their 1-0 loss to Sporting CP.
SWEDEN – DAMALLSVENSKAN
Clarissa Larisey entered in the 63rd minute for BK Häcken in their 8-1 victory over Linkõpings.
USA – NCAA
This week Jade Rose made her return and played a total of 59 minutes for Harvard in their 1-1 draw with Dartmouth. Later in the week, Rose would play a total of 72 minutes and earned one assist and one hockey assist in Harvard’s 5-0 defeat of Cornell.
Laurence Gladu was in net for USC in their 3-2 win over Illinois and in their 2-1 win over Northwestern. Annabelle Chukwu played a total of 66 minutes for Notre Dame in their 0-0 draw with Louisville. Anna Karpenko was in net for the second half for Georgetown in their 1-0 loss to DePaul University.
USA – NWSL
The Portland Thorns ended their winless streak that dates back to July 5th, while handing the Orlando Pride their first loss of the season, with a solid 2-0 win. For the Thorns, Christine Sinclair played 80 minutes and scored the second goal and Jessie Fleming played the full game.

Julia Grosso played the full game for the Chicago Red Stars in their 2-0 loss to Gotham. Despite the loss, Chicago clinched their spot in the playoffs due to the results of the Washington Spirit v Racing Louisville game.
Megan Reid played the full game for Angel City in their 1-1 draw with the North Carolina Courage. For the Courage, Bianca St-Georges was an unused sub and Sydney Collins remained unavailable due to injury.
Nichelle Prince played 87 minutes for the Kansas City Current in their 1-0 win over Bay FC. Desiree Scott was an unused sub for the Current.
Cloé Lacasse made history this week in the Utah Royals’ 3-0 win over the Seattle Reign. Lacasse, who was subbed out in stoppage time, had a first half hat trick. This marks the first hat trick of the 2024 NWSL season, the first hat trick in Utah Royals’ history, and was only the second first-half hat trick in NWSL history. For the Reign, Jordyn Huitema played 74 minutes and captained her team while Quinn was unavailable due to injury.

The Washington Spirit defeated Racing Louisville 4-1, Gabby Carle played the full game for the Spirit and Janine Beckie played 87 minutes for Louisville.
Despite being officially eliminated from the playoffs, the Houston Dash came out strong and defeated the San Diego Wave 2-0. Kailen Sheridan was in net for the Wave, and both Allysha Chapman and Sophie Schmidt played the full 90 for the Dash.
UWCL
The UWCL Group Stages began, with all the Canadians coming away with wins. Vanessa Gilles played the full game and scored one goal for Lyon in their 3-0 win over Galatasary, Evelyne Viens played 85 minutes for Roma in their 1-0 win over VFL Wolsburg, and Lysianne Proulx was the backup keeper for Juventus in their 1-0 win over Vålerenga.

Ashley Lawrence entered in the 66th minute for Chelsea in their 3-2 win over Real Madrid. Kadeisha Buchanan was unavailable for Chelsea due to the red card she picked up last season.
