Canada was back in international action with two friendlies against Argentina. The first match was dominated by the Canadians, who won handily by a score of 3-0. Jade Rose scored her first goal for Canada; Nichelle Prince and Julia Grosso scored their 17th and 5th goals, respectively. Kailen Sheridan also earned her 31st clean sheet. In the second match, Canada looked much less stable, and despite good scoring chances, lost the match 1-0. This is the first time in program history that Argentina have defeated Canada. In good news, the last match saw Kayla Briggs and Holly Ward earn their first caps for the senior team.
England
This weekend, the semi-finals of the FA Cup took place. Liverpool got off to a strong start against Chelsea thanks to an early Olivia Smith goal; Smith played 88 minutes. Chelsea came back to win it 2-1 without either Canadian featuring: Kadeisha Buchanan remains sidelined, and Ashley Lawrence was on the bench. Manchester United was victorious in the other semi-final against rivals Manchester City. Jayde Riviere started for United, playing 87 minutes in their 2-0 win. Simi Awujo was an unused substitute.
France
Vanessa Gilles played 79 minutes for Lyon in their 2-2 draw with Paris FC.
Italy
Neither Evelyne Viens nor Lysianne Proulx were available for Roma or Juventus respectively; Juventus beat Roma 2-1.
Portugal
Jeneva Hernandez Gray again earned some time off the bench, entering in the 82nd minute for Sporting CP in their 6-0 win over Clube de Albergaria.
Sweden
Carly Wickenheiser came on in the 57th minute for BK Häcken in their 5-1 win over Vittsjö.
USA
The Portland Thorns won their first match of the season with a 1-0 victory over the Utah Royals. Mimi Alidou made her NWSL debut, entering in the 59th minute for the Thorns; Jessie Fleming came off the bench in the 69th minute. Bianca St-Georges played 70 minutes for the Royals, and Cloé Lacasse remained unavailable due to her ACL injury. Angel City continued their impressive start to the season with a 3-1 win against the Houston Dash. Megan Reid entered in the 90th minute for Angel City, and Allysha Chapman was unavailable for the Dash due to a wrist injury.

Janine Sonis earned her 100th NWSL appearance on the weekend as Racing Louisville lost 2-0 to Washington. Sonis entered in the 66th minute; Gabby Carle played the first half for the Spirit. Jordyn Huitema also hit a milestone this week as she earned her 50th appearance for the Seattle Reign. She played the first half in a 1-0 loss to the Orlando Pride.
Kansas City Current extended their winning streak with a 2-0 win over the San Diego Wave. Prince earned a rare start for the Current, playing 76 minutes. Kailen Sheridan was in net for the Wave, and Adriana Leon was a substitute, coming on in the 69th minute.
Sydney Collins remains out with an ankle injury and did not feature for the North Carolina Courage in their 3-1 defeat at the hands of Gotham FC. Finally, the Chicago Stars picked up their first points of the season, winning 2-1 against Bay FC. Grosso played the full match for the Stars.
