Ottawa Rapid started their NSL season with a strong 2-1 win over AFC Toronto. Desiree Scott played 85 minutes for Ottawa—impressively, she scored her first ever goal (for club or country) and it served as the game-winner. Emma Regan played the full match for Toronto. Vancouver Rise suffered their first defeat of the season, losing 3-1 to Montreal Roses. Quinn and Holly Ward played the full match for Vancouver, with Quinn scoring their second goal of the season, once again converting from the penalty spot. Samantha Chang was unavailable.

England

Midweek, Chelsea won resoundingly over Crystal Palace by a score of 4-0. Kadeisha Buchanan remained unavailable for Chelsea, but Ashley Lawrence played the full match for the Blues. For Crystal Palace, Clarissa Larisey started and played 60 minutes.

On the weekend, West Ham crushed Crystal Palace 7-1. Shelina Zadorsky played the full match for the Hammers, whereas Larisey played the first half for Crystal Palace. With this loss, Crystal Palace is officially relegated to the Championship for the 2025-2026 season. For Liverpool, Olivia Smith played the full match in a 2-2 draw with Tottenham. Leicester City suffered a slim 1-0 defeat to Manchester City; Deanne Rose remained on the bench for the Foxes.

France

Vanessa Gilles was rested for Lyon in the lead-up to their UWCL final; Lyon won 2-0 over Nantes.

Italy
Lysianne Proulx was in net for Juventus in their 3-1 loss to Fiorentina.

Sweden

Carly Wickenheiser played the full match for BK Häcken in their 4-0 win over IFK Norrköping.

USA

In a mid-week match, the Portland Thorns won 4-1 over Gotham FC. Jessie Fleming and Mimi Alidou both started for the Thorns, lasting 63 and 83 minutes, respectively. Alidou scored the first Thorns goal, and drew the penalty that led to the third.

Houston Dash won 1-0 over Utah Royals—Allysha Chapman, Cloé Lacasse, and Bianca St-Georges were all unavailable. For Angel City, Megan Reid made a cameo appearance, entering in the 83rd minute as they suffered a 3-2 defeat to Orlando Pride. Gotham rebounded from their earlier loss, beating Washington Spirit 3-0. Gabrielle Carle played the full match for the Spirit. North Carolina Courage handed Kansas City Current their first loss of the season, winning 3-2. Sydney Collins remained on NCC’s SEI list, and Nichelle Prince was ruled out for KCC with a thigh injury.

San Diego Wave won handily over Chicago Stars by a 3-0 scoreline. Kailen Sheridan was in net for the Wave, keeping the clean sheet, and Adriana Leon entered in the 74th minute, earning an assist. For the Stars, Julia Grosso played 84 minutes. Jordyn Huitema scored her first goal of the NWSL season, heading in the equalizer for Seattle Reign in a 1-1 draw with Bay FC. Huitema played 88 minutes.

The last match of the week was a contentious 3-3 draw between Portland Thorns and Racing Louisville. For Portland, Fleming scored her first NWSL goal, converting a penalty. Fleming played 74 minutes, and Alidou entered as she exited. For Louisville, Janine Sonis played the full match and earned her first assist of the season.

UWCL

This week, the final leg of the UWCL semi-finals took place. Unfortunately, both teams with Canadians lost handily and will not advance to the finals. Ashley Lawrence played the second half for Chelsea as they lost 4-1 to Barcelona, losing 8-2 on aggregate. Gilles played the full match for Lyon; despite going into the second leg with a 2-1 lead, they lost the match 4-1, losing their spot in the final 5-3 on aggregate.
