In Ottawa Rapid’s first match of the week, Desiree Scott did not feature for her side as they lost 2-1 to Halifax; the East Coast side finally won their first match of the season. AFC Toronto managed to hold off Vancouver Rise by a scoreline of 3-2. Multiple Canadians were in action and good form for their teams: for Toronto, Emma Regan scored and played the full match. For Vancouver, Samantha Chang and Holly Ward both played the full match, with Chang earning an assist and Ward winning a penalty kick, which was converted by Quinn, who had subbed on in the 69th minute.

Montreal Roses held Ottawa Rapid to a second straight loss, once again by a score of 2-1. For Montreal, Latifah Abdu scored in her 68 minutes of play, and for Ottawa, Scott played the full match. In the last game of the week, Toronto won 2-1 against Calgary; Regan once again went the distance for Toronto.

Sweden

Carly Wickenheiser scored a first-half brace for BK Häcken against AIK. She played the full match and helped her side to a strong 6-0 win.

In her 100th NWSL match, Adriana Leon earned the start for San Diego Wave and scored her fourth goal of the season to help them win 3-2 over the Houston Dash. Kailen Sheridan was in net for the Wave. For Utah Royals, Cloé Lacasse remained on the sidelines and Bianca St-Georges played the full match in a 3-0 loss to Gotham FC. Orlando Pride managed to win by a slim 1-0 margin over Bay FC; Zara Chavoshi was an unused substitute for the Pride.

Julia Grosso and Jordyn Huitema both featured for their respective sides as Chicago and Seattle played to a 2-2 draw. Grosso started for Chicago before being subbed off in the 57th minute, and Huitema entered for Seattle in the 67th.

Despite Racing Louisville losing 4-2 to Kansas City Current, Janine Sonis continued her good form, earning a goal and an assist on Louisville’s goals. Nichelle Prince was ruled out for Kansas City due to a thigh injury. Megan Reid played the full match for Angel City in their 2-1 loss to North Carolina Courage. Sydney Collins remained unavailable for the Courage, but appears to be close to making her return: she was featured in full training pictures this past week.

Portland Thorns won 2-0 over Washington Spirit as they celebrated Pride month at home. Jessie Fleming played the full match for Portland and earned the assist on each of their goals. Mimi Alidou entered as a substitute in the 67th minute. For Washington, Gabby Carle played the full match.
