This week it was announced that Deanne Rose would be joining the WSL2 team Nottingham Forest on a one-year deal. D. Rose most recently played for Leicester in the WSL, though her minutes were limited this past season due to injury.
In news that has shocked both fans and the Montréal Roses, it was announced that Latifah Abdu will be leaving the club. The exact reasons for her departure are not known at the moment; Abdu made the decision after a technical assessment was held between her and the club.
CONCACAF
In their first group stage game of the 2025-2026 CONCACAF W Champions Cup, the Washington Spirit defeated the El Salvadorian team Alianza 7-0; Gabby Carle was an unused substitute.
NCAA
In their first game, Wisconsin defeated Central Michigan 4-0; Ella Ottey played a total of 51 minutes and earned one assist. Then on Sunday, Ottey played the full game for Wisconsin in their 2-1 win over Marquette.
Annabelle Chukwu would play 55 minutes and score one goal in Notre Dame’s 4-0 win over Cincinnati.
Michigan State was in action twice this week: a 3-0 win over NC State and a 9-0 win over Milwaukee. In the first game, Noelle Henning was in net and Kayla Briggs played 55 minutes and scored one goal. Henning was an unused substitute in the second game while Briggs played 53 minutes and had one assist.
Nyah Rose played 57 minutes and scored one goal for Southern Methodist University’s (SMU) 4-3 win over North Texas. In SMU’s 2-0 win over Southern University, N. Rose played 59 minutes.
Canada
Latifah Abdu was not with the Montréal Roses this week as they won 2-0 over the Calgary Wild.
The Vancouver Rise travelled to Ottawa this week and took home all three points with a 3-2 win thanks to Samantha Chang and Holly Ward. Chang and Ward would both play the full game for the Rise, with Chang scoring a brace, including a late game winner, and Ward scoring the other goal; Desiree Scott played 72 minutes for Ottawa. Quinn was unavailable this week due to injury.

Italy
The Serie A Women’s Cup, a new competition for the league, began this week with group stage play. Evelyne Viens and Lyisanne Proulx were unavailable for Roma and Juventus respectively. Roma won 4-2 over Ternana while Juventus won 2-0 over Parma.
Sweden
Carly Wickenheiser played 74 minutes for BK Häcken in their 3-1 loss to IFK Norrköping.
USA
In the first NWSL game of the week, Angel City FC came away with a win, defeating the Orlando Pride 1-0. Megan Reid played the full game for Angel City while Zara Chavoshi was an unused substitute for the Pride.
Julia Grosso played 45 minutes for the Chicago Stars in their 3-3 draw with the North Carolina Courage. Gabby Carle played the full game for the Washington Spirit in their 3-2 win over Bay FC.

The Utah Royals drew Gotham FC 0-0 on Saturday; Cloé Lacasse entered in the 59th minute and Bianca St-Georges entered in the 76th.
All three Canadians saw action for their clubs in Kansas City Current’s 2-0 win over the Portland Thorns. Nichelle Prince played 62 minutes for the Current, and for the Thorns, Jessie Fleming played 58 minutes, subbing off for Mimi Alidou.

The Houston Dash drew the Seattle Reign 1-1 this week. For the Dash, Clarissa Larisey entered in the 82nd minute, making her NWSL debut. For the Reign, Jordyn Huitema played the full game and scored the goal, making this her second goal in as many games.
In the last game of the week, Racing Louisville defeated the San Diego Wave 1-0. For the Wave, Kailen Sheridan was in net and Adriana Leon played 75 minutes, and for Racing, Janine Sonis played the full game.
