CONCACAF W Champions Cup

On Tuesday, Zara Chavoshi played the full match for Orlando Pride in a 2-0 loss to CF America. Then, Gabby Carle played the first half for Washington Spirit in their scoreless draw with Gotham FC.
England – WSL & WSL2
In the WSL, Manchester United and Chelsea played to a 1-1 draw. Jayde Riviere played 76 minutes for Man United, whilst Simi Awujo was an unused substitute. Kadeisha Buchanan was unavailable due to her ACL injury. Manchester City picked up an important three points with a 3-2 win over fellow title contenders Arsenal; Jade Rose played the full match for Man City, and Olivia Smith played 68 minutes for the Gunners. Aston Villa earned three points with a 2-0 victory over West Ham; Sabrina D’Angelo earned the clean sheet for the Villans, and Shelina Zadorsky played the full match for the Hammers. In WSL2, Deanne Rose played 82 minutes for Nottingham Forest in a 4-1 win over Portsmouth.
France

Ashley Lawrence played the full match for OL Lyonnes as they beat Lens by a score of 8-1. Marie Levasseur and Montpellier picked up their first points of the season, winning 2-0 over Strasbourg. Levasseur played the full match.
Germany
Unfortunately, it was announced this week that Vanessa Gilles would be unavailable for several weeks due to an injury sustained in Bayern’s last match. As a result, she was unavailable for their 4-0 win over Werder Bremen.
Italy
In Serie A play, Evelyne Viens played 64 minutes for Roma as they won 4-0 over Parma Calcio 1913. Due to recovery from shoulder surgery, Lysianne Proulx was unavailable for Juventus in their scoreless draw with Sassuolo.
Portugal
Jeneva Hernandez Gray earned the start and played 61 minutes for Sporting CP in their league match this week. They drew Vitoria de Guimaraes 1-1.
Sweden
In BK Häcken’s first match of the week, Carly Wickenheiser played 89 minutes in their 3-0 win against Malmö FF. Wickenheiser was largely rested for the second match, entering in the 58th minute in their 2-0 victory over Alingsås FC United.
USA – NCAA
Annabelle Chukwu continued her fine form, scoring a goal in 62 minutes of play for Notre Dame in their 3-1 win over Louisville. Janet Okeke and FSU won 3-0 against Miami; Okeke played the full match. Ella Ottey also played the full match for Wisconsin, as they too won 3-0 over their opponents, Minnesota. MSU played to a 1-1 draw with Ohio State. Noelle Henning was in net, and Kayla Briggs played 79 minutes. Finally, Nyah Rose didn’t feature for SMU in their 2-1 win over California.
USA – NWSL
As the race for the play-off kicks into high gear, Houston Dash and Orlando Pride played to a 1-1 draw. Clarissa Larisey entered in the 64th minute for Houston, and Chavoshi was an unused substitute for Orlando. Janine Sonis and Racing Louisville picked up important points, winning 3-1 over North Carolina Courage. Sonis played the full match, captaining the side once again. In the last match on Saturday—and on the evening of Christine Sinclair’s jersey retirement—Portland Thorns won 2-1 at home over Bay FC. Jessie Fleming played the full game, and Mimi Alidou entered in the 62nd minute.

On Sunday, Washington Spirit were able to salvage a win with a stoppage time goal; they won 2-1 over San Diego Wave. Carle played the full match for Washington. Kailen Sheridan was in net for the Wave, and Adriana Leon earned the start, playing 57 minutes. In another exciting match, Chicago Stars came from behind to draw 2-2 with Utah Royals. Julia Grosso played practically the full match, exiting at 90+2. She earned the assist on the Stars’ second goal. For the Royals, Cloé Lacasse started and played 76 minutes, and Bianca St-Georges entered in the 64th minute.
Jordyn Huitema and Seattle Reign played to a scoreless draw with Gotham FC. Huitema played 85 minutes. Finally, in a Monday night game, Nichelle Prince entered in the 72nd minute for Kansas City in their 1-0 victory over Angel City. Megan Reid was on the bench for ACFC, but did not feature.
