Canada – National Team
It was a disappointing break for the national team as they suffered 1-0 losses against Switzerland and the Netherlands. New call-up Florianne Jourde made her senior international debut in Canada’s first game against Switzerland. Kaylee Hunter did not see any action this window as she was injured prior to the first game and was then recalled by AFC Toronto prior to Canada’s game against the Netherlands to continue her rehab.

After suffering a hip injury in Canada’s first half against Switzerland, Olivia Smith returned to Arsenal to focus on her recovery and was not available for Canada’s game against the Netherlands.
Ashley Lawrence made her 150th appearance for the senior national team in Canada’s game against the Netherlands.
Canada will look to bounce back in the November/December window with two games against Japan.
Canada – NSL
AFC Toronto defeated the Montréal Roses 2-0 in the first leg of the NSL Semi-Finals. Toronto and Montréal will face off again in the second leg next week. Emma Regan played the full game while Hunter returned from injury, playing the second half and scoring the second goal.
USA – NCAA
While there was a break for professional teams for the October window, the college teams continued their play. Janet Okeke played the full game for Florida State in their 3-2 win over Virginia. Okeke would then play 87 minutes for her team in a 4-1 win over Wake Forest. In the ACC First Round, FSU fell to Virginia on penalty kicks after the game ended 0-0.
Annabelle Chukwu scored a goal in just 44 minutes of play for Notre Dame in their 5-0 win over Virginia Tech. Chukwu then played 86 minutes in a 1-1 draw with Wake Forest. Notre Dame would lose the last game of the week in a tough 1-0 loss to the Pittsburgh Panthers.
After missing several games for SMU, Nyah Rose made her return playing 52 minutes in a 5-1 loss to Stanford. Later in the week, N. Rose would play 66 minutes in a 3-0 loss to Louisville.
Noelle Henning and Kayla Briggs both played the full game for Michigan State in their 1-0 win over Nebraska with Henning making a huge penalty save to keep the clean sheet and win for her team. Michigan State won their game against Northwestern 1-0 thanks to Henning and Briggs who kept the clean sheet and scored the goal respectively. Both played the full game.
Ella Ottey played the full 90 minutes for Wisconsin in a 1-1 draw with Northwestern. Ottey once again played the full game for Wisconsin in their 3-0 win over Iowa; Ottey had the assist for Wisconsin’s first goal.
USA – NWSL
It was Decision Day in the NWSL as the regular season came to an end. Multiple important games occurred at the same time to decide the final rankings and quarter-final opponents.
Shield winners Kansas City Current came away with a 2-1 win over the San Diego Wave thanks to a goal from Nichelle Prince. Prince entered the game shortly before the end of the first half and scored the game-winning goal, her first of the season. For the Wave, who finish in sixth place, Kailen Sheridan was in net and Adriana Leon played the final 7 minutes.
The Utah Royals ended their season with a win, and in twelfth place, with a 1-0 victory over the Washington Spirit. Bianca St-Georges played the final seven minutes for the Royals and Gabby Carle played the second half for the Spirit, who finish in second place in the regular season.
The Orlando Pride and the Seattle Reign finished their regular season with a 1-1
draw. Zara Chavoshi entered in the 67th minute for the Pride and Jordyn Huitema played the second half for the Reign. Orlando Pride finishes the season in fourth place while the Reign finish in fifth.

Racing Louisville defeated their ninth-place curse coming away with a 1-0 win over Bay FC to finish in seventh place and clinch the final spot in the playoffs. Sonis played the full game for Racing and Sydney Collins played the full game for Bay FC, who finish in 13th place.
Despite coming away with a 2-1 win over Angel City, the Chicago Stars finish the season in last place. Julia Grosso was unavailable for the Stars due to a thigh injury and Megan Reid played the full game for Angel City, who finish in 11th place.

In the final regular NWSL game of the season, the Portland Thorns came away with a huge 2-0 win over the Houston Dash. For the Thorns, Jessie Fleming played the full game, earning the assist on the first goal and scoring the second. Mimi Alidou entered in the 68th minute, while Clarissa Larisey played the second half for the Dash. The Thorns finish in third place thanks to a +1 goal difference over the Orlando Pride, while the Dash finish their season in 10th place.
England – WSL/WSL2
In the first game back from break, Jade Rose’s Manchester City defeated Shelina Zadorsky’s West Ham 1-0. J. Rose and Zadorsky both played the full game for their respective teams.
Sabrina D’Angelo was in net for Aston Villa in their 3-3 draw with Everton.
Jayde Riviere played 60 minutes and Simi Awujo played the final 30 for Manchester United in their 3-2 win over Brighton.

Smith was unavailable for Arsenal this week in their 4-1 win over Leicester.
In the WSL2, Deanne Rose was unavailable for Nottingham Forest in their 3-2 win over Southampton.
Germany – Bundesliga
Vanessa Gilles remains unavailable for her team due to a calf injury. Bayern München defeated SGS Essen 4-1.
France – Première Ligue
Ashley Lawrence was not in the game day squad for OL Lyonnes in their 1-0 win over Paris FC. Marie Levassuer played the full game for Montpellier in a 4-2 loss to Saint-Étienne. Emily Burns was in net for Nantes in a 2-1 loss to Dijon Foot. Jourde played the second half for PSG in a 2-0 win over Le Havre.
Portugal – Liga BPI
Jeneva Hernandez Gray played the final 19 minutes for Sporting CP in a 3-2 loss to Torreense.
Italy – Serie A
Evelyne Viens was key for her team, earning two assists after coming on at the start of the second half for Roma in their 3-0 win over Inter. Lysianne Proulx remains unavailable for Juventus due to a shoulder injury; Juventus would win their game 2-1 over Ternana Femminile.
Sweden – Damallsvenskan
Carly Wickenheiser was unavailable for BK Häcken in their 4-0 win over Linkopings FC.
