CanWNT News

This week, the roster dropped for the final international window of 2025. The roster is largely as expected given manager Casey Stoney’s recent rosters; there were some unavailabilities to note. Gabrielle Carle and Lysianne Proulx are unavailable through injury, Olivia Smith is remaining at club for return-to-play protocols, and Annabelle Chukwu and Kayla Briggs are remaining with their college teams. Simi Awujo is also available after her meniscus injury over the summer. This marks the first time Delaney Baie (DB) Pridham has been called up to the senior team after making a provisional roster in 2022. We are excited to see the Northern Super League’s top goal scorer in action for Canada, and look forward to tracking her second season with the Ottawa Rapid.

Unfortunately, it has now been one calendar year since Jeneva Hernandez Gray (Sporting CP) and Janet Okeke (Florida State) have been called up to the senior team. As such, we will be ceasing coverage on them both after this round-up, and hope to see them back with the seniors soon.
