In a midweek WSL fixture, West Ham and Manchester United played to a scoreless draw. It was Shelina Zadorsky’s first time on the bench since her injury late last year, but she did not feature. Jayde Riviere was not in the squad for United, and Simi Awujo entered as a substitute in the 57th minute.

West Ham faced off against Arsenal on the weekend, this time losing 5-0. Zadorsky made her return from injury, entering in the 69th minute, and Olivia Smith exited the match in stoppage time for the Gunners. Manchester City won their match against Tottenham Hotspur by a score of 5-2; Jade Rose played the full ninety minutes for City.
Riviere was once again unavailable for Manchester United as they defeated Everton 2-1. Awujo earned the start and played the full match. Sabrina D’Angelo was on the bench for Aston Villa as they won 2-1 over Leicester City.
In WSL2, Nottingham Forest won 2-0 over Ipswich Town. Deanne Rose entered in the 89th minute for Forest, and Lysianne Proulx was unavailable for Ipswich.
France
In the Coupe de France Féminine, Ashley Lawrence was rested for OL Lyonnes as they beat Le Havre by a 7-0 scoreline. PSG also had success in the competition—they won 2-1 over Dijon. For the Parisiennes, Florianne Jourde entered in the 11th minute.
In Première Ligue play, Lawrence played the full match for Lyonnes in their 2-0 victory over Fleury. Nantes and Emily Burns earned the clean sheet with a 3-0 win over Strasbourg. Finally, PSG completed the comeback to win 3-2 over Montpellier. Jourde entered in the 83rd minute and helped cause PSG’s second goal; striking the woodwork, her teammate scored on the rebound. On the other side, Marie Levasseur played the full match for Montpellier.
Germany

Vanessa Gilles played the full match for Bayern in their 5-0 defeat of SGS Essen. Gilles also registered an assist.
Italy
Évelyne Viens started for Roma in their 2-1 win over Lazio and exited in stoppage time.
USA
The first NWSL match-up of the week featured Orlando Pride and Denver Summit, and ended in a 1-1 draw. Zara Chavoshi remained unavailable for the Pride. For Denver, Janine Sonis was unavailable due to her red card last week. Emma Regan started the match and lasted 63 minutes, at which point Megan Reid entered the game. Washington Spirit also played to a draw (2-2), earning a point against Racing Louisville. Gabby Carle played the full match for the Spirit.
In a Cascadia Rivalry match to remember, Portland Thorns beat Seattle Reign 2-0 despite playing 80 minutes with 10 players, and 30 minutes with 9. Both Jessie Fleming and Mimi Alidou earned the start for Portland. Fleming played the full match, and Alidou played 65 minutes. For the Reign, Holly Ward entered in the 68th minute. Houston Dash won their home opener against Boston Legacy with a statement victory of 3-0. Clarissa Larisey entered the game off the bench for Houston in the 73rd minute. Nichelle Prince started for Boston, playing 67 minutes; Bianca St-Georges was unavailable due to her red card last week. Gotham FC and North Carolina Courage played to a scoreless draw, with Kailen Sheridan earning the clean sheet for the Courage. Sheridan also hit the 15,000 minutes played milestone, becoming the 4th goalkeeper in the NWSL to do so. Carly Wickenheiser also played the full match for North Carolina.

Bay FC lost 3-1 to Angel City. Sydney Collins and Brooklyn Courtnall both started for the Bay; Collins played the full match, and Courtnall exited in the 66th minute. Chicago Stars rebounded from their heavy loss on opening weekend with a 2-1 win over Kansas City. Julia Grosso and Jordyn Huitema both started for Chicago, and Huitema scored the game-winning goal for her new club. She played 61 minutes, and Grosso played the full match.
In the last match of the weekend, San Diego Wave beat Utah Royals 2-1. Adriana Leon was unavailable for the Wave, and Cloé Lacasse started for the Royals, playing 71 minutes.
