Confederation – UWCL
This week, the first leg of the UWCL Quarter Finals took place. Ashley Lawrence played the full game for OL Lyonnes in their 1-0 loss to VFL Wolfsburg. Olivia Smith entered in the 60th minute for Arsenal in their 3-1 win over Chelsea. In a Canadian Clash, Bayern München won 3-2 over Manchester United. For Bayern, Vanessa Gilles played the full game and for United, both Simi Awujo and Jayde Riviere entered in the 76th minute.
USA – NWSL
The NWSL was in action twice this week, once on Wednesday with five games being played and then again on the weekend with all teams playing. On Wednesday, the Denver Summit defeated Gotham 2-0. Janine Sonis played the full game, Megan Reid entered in the 68th minute and Emma Regan was an unused substitute. The Washington Spirit continues to struggle, drawing the Utah Royals 1-1. Gabby Carle was an unused substitute for the Spirit, and Cloé Lacasse played 72 minutes for the Royals.
The Orlando Pride defeated the Chicago Stars 3-0. For the Stars, Julia Grosso played 84 minutes, and Jordyn Huitema was unavailable due to a hip injury. For the Pride, Zara Chavosi was unavailable due to a lower leg injury. Holly Ward was an unused substitute for the Seattle Reign in their shocking 3-0 win over the KC Current.
In the final mid-week NWSL game, the San Diego Wave defeated the Portland Thorns 3-1. Jessie Fleming played the full game, and Mimi Alidou played the first half for the Thorns while Adriana Leon was unavailable for the Wave due to a back injury.

On Friday, Clarissa Larisey entered the match in stoppage time for the Houston Dash in their 2-1 loss to Angel City.
Boston Legacy will continue to search for their first point after falling 3-1 to the Royals on Saturday. For the Legacy, Nichelle Prince entered in the 69th minute, and Bianca St-George played the full game, and for the Royals, Lacasse played 62 minutes and earned an assist.

The Denver Summit made history at their home opener as they welcomed 63,004 fans, the highest attendance ever for a women’s professional soccer game. Unfortunately, the game ended in a lacklustre scoreless draw with the Washington Spirit. Sonis and Megan played the full game for the Summit, while once again, Regan was an unused substitute. Gabby Carle was in the starting XI for the Spirit but was unfortunately replaced shortly before kickoff due to a reported leg injury. The extent of her injury is not known at this time.

Fleming and Alidou both played the full game for the Thorns in their 2-0 win over the KC Current. Ward earned her first NWSL start, playing 69 minutes for the Reign in their 2-1 win over Racing Louisville. Bay FC came away with a 3-1 win over the North Carolina Courage. For the Bay, Brooklyn Courtnall entered in the 10th minute, and Sydney Collins played the full game and earned an assist. Kailen Sheridan was in net and Carly Wickenheiser played 56 minutes for the Courage.
San Diego defeated the Chicago Stars 2-0. Grosso played the full game for the Stars while Leon and Huitema remain unavailable for their respective teams due to injury. Chavoshi was unavailable for the Pride in their 0-0 draw with Gotham.
England – WSL/WSL2
In WSL2 action, Lysianne Proulx remains unavailable for Ipswich Town, who lost 2-1 to Southampton. Deanne Rose entered in the 86th minute for Nottingham Forest in their 2-1 win over Durham.

It was Derby Day this weekend, with Manchester City defeating Manchester United 3-0. For City, Jade Rose played the full game, and for United Riviere played 70 minutes and Awujo played the full game. Smith played the first half and earned an assist for Arsenal in their 5-2 win over Tottenham. Sabrina D’Angelo entered in the 79th minute after an injury to the starting keeper for Aston Villa. D’Angelo conceded one goal for the Villans in their 4-3 loss to Chelsea. Shelina Zadorsky was an unused substitute for West Ham in their 1-1 draw with London City Lionesses.
Germany – Frauen-Bundesliga
Gilles was an unused substitute for Bayern München in their 2-0 win over Nûrnberg. This was most likely due to rest, as Bayern will be back in UWCL action this coming week.
France – Première Ligue
Lawrence was not in the game day squad for Lyonnes in their 2-2 draw with Strasbourg. Marie Levasseur played the full game for Montpellier in their 2-1 win over Marseille. PSG defeated Nantes 2-1; Florianne Jourde played the final 4 minutes for PSG and Emily Burns was in net for Nantes.
Italy – Cup
In the second leg of the Coppa Italia Semi-Final, Evelyne Viens played 78 minutes and scored the second goal in Roma’s 2-1 win over Inter. Viens and Roma advance to the Coppa Italia Women’s Final with 3-2 win on aggregate, with Viens scoring the game winning goal.
