CanWNT News

The roster for the FIFA Series in Brazil dropped this week. Notably, Kadeisha Buchanan returns after last appearing for the national team in October 2024. This is also Carly Wickenheiser’s first call-up since last April, following an impressive start to the season with NC Courage, and Jayde Riviere and Olivia Smith return after injuries.

The following players were unavailable through injury: Gabby Carle, Jordyn Huitema, Adriana Leon, Lysianne Proulx, Holly Ward, and Shelina Zadorsky. This also marks a year since Clarissa Larisey, Ella Ottey, Quinn, Deanne Rose, and Nyah Rose were last called up to the national team. We are ceasing coverage of them here and hope to see them with the team again soon.

In U-20 news, Noelle Henning has been called up for their friendly series with Costa Rica.
