Canada

Melissa Dagenais earned a clean sheet for Ottawa Rapid in their 2-0 victory over Halifax. DB Pridham also started the match, playing 79 minutes. On Monday, Latifah Abdu played the full match for Vancouver Rise as they beat Halifax Tides 2-1.

England

In their penultimate WSL match, Olivia Smith played 76 minutes for Arsenal in their 1-0 win over Everton. Then, on Saturday, the entire league kicked off at the same time for decision day:

  • Chelsea narrowly defeated Manchester United 1-0. Kadeisha Buchanan played the full game for Chelsea. For Man United, Jayde Riviere left the match in the 7th minute with a knock, and Simi Awujo remained on the bench. Chelsea finished the season in third, whereas Manchester United will miss out on European football next season with a fourth-place league finish.
  • Arsenal beat Liverpool 3-1 in their final fixture, ending the season in second place. Smith came on in the 58th minute against her former club.
  • Sabrina D’Angelo, who will be leaving Aston Villa, remained on the bench for their last match, a 2-1 loss to London City. The Villans finish the season in 9th place.
  • Manchester City, already confirmed as league champions, won their last game of the season with an emphatic 4-1 win over West Ham. Jade Rose played the full match for the champions and scored one of their goals. Shelina Zadorsky entered in the 66th minute for West Ham; the Hammers finished the season in 10th place.

France

The semi-finals of the Premiere Ligue took place this weekend. OL Lyonnes destroyed Nantes 8-0. Ashley Lawrence played the full match for Lyonnes and earned an assist, whereas Emily Burns was in net for Nantes. Despite the lopsided scoreline, Burns made crucial saves to keep the score from climbing higher. In the other semi-final, Florianne Jourde did not feature for PSG, which lost 1-0 to Paris FC.

Germany

Vanessa Gilles entered the DFB Pokal Frauen Final in the 82nd minute to help secure the 4-0 victory for Bayern München over VFL Wolfsburg. In league play, Gilles played the full match as Bayern won 1-0 over Hamburger SV.

Italy

In Serie A, Evelyne Viens played 78 minutes for Roma in their 2-0 victory over Genoa.

USA

Boston Legacy won their midweek fixture 2-1 over Orlando Pride. Nichelle Prince played 75 minutes, and Bianca St-Georges played the full match for Boston. For Orlando, Zara Chavoshi was once again unavailable due to injury. Boston’s weekend match against Bay FC was a bit more dramatic as St-Georges started the match but earned her second red card of the season in the 42nd minute. Prince played the full match for Boston in this eventual 1-1 draw. For Bay, Sydney Collins played the full match, and Brooklyn Courtnall was on the bench.

San Diego Wave won 2-1 over Washington Spirit. Adriana Leon was once again unavailable for selection for the Wave, and Gabrielle Carle exited at 90+4 for Washington. Seattle Reign lost 2-0 to Gotham FC; Holly Ward entered in the 62nd minute for Seattle.

Kailen Sheridan earned the clean sheet for the North Carolina Courage in a 4-0 win over Chicago Stars. Carly Wickenheiser entered in the 73rd minute for the Courage; for Chicago, Jordyn Huitema played the full match, and Julia Grosso played 76 minutes.

Janine Sonis earned her second brace of the season a week after her first, helping Denver Summit win 3-1 over Orlando Pride. She played the full match, Megan Reid did not feature, and Emma Regan entered in the 75th minute. For Orlando, Chavoshi remained unavailable.

Then, Portland Thorns drew Angel City 0-0. Jessie Fleming played the full match for the Thorns, whilst Marie Alidou remained on the bench. Finally, Cloé Lacasse played 68 minutes for Utah Royals in their 2-1 win over Racing Louisville.
