Evelyne Viens signed with Paris FC until 2028. Viens previously played for Paris during the 2020-2021 season while on loan from Gotham FC where she scored 11 goals in 14 appearances.

Sabrina D’Angelo returned home, signing with AFC Toronto for the remainder of the 2026 season. D’Angelo will be unavailable for selection until July 20th, when the transfer window opens.

National Team

The U20s played two friendlies in June, one against England and the other against Japan. Canada lost 1-0 to England. Annabelle Chukwu had the start, but unfortunately, no information is available on substitutions, so it is unknown if Kaylee Hunter played. The team drew Japan 2-2. Hunter and Chukwu both had the start and scored the goals, with Hunter playing the full game and Chukwu exiting the game at halftime. 

The senior team played one game this window, beating Costa Rica 6-0. Kailen Sheridan kept the clean sheet, and Élisabeth Tsé earned her debut. The goals came from Viens, Jordyn Huitema off of a Mimi Alidou assist, Alidou, and a Janine Sonis hat-trick, with Jessie Fleming earning one assist and the other two via penalty kicks.

Canada – NSL

With the European seasons over until the fall and the NWSL taking a break for the Men’s World Cup, the only league in action this month was the Northern Super League. AFC Toronto drew Montréal Roses 1-1; Hunter had the start and played the full game. Ottawa Rapid defeated Vancouver Rise 3-1. Melissa Dagenais was in the net, and DB Pridham played 87 minutes and scored two goals.

AFC Toronto and Ottawa Rapid then drew 1-1 the following weekend. For Ottawa, Dagenais was in net, and Pridham played the full game and scored the goal. For Toronto, Hunter played 80 minutes. 

Ottawa Rapid beat Montréal Roses 2-1. Dagenais was once again in net, and Pridham played 79 minutes. In the final game of the month, AFC Toronto defeated Vancouver Rise 3-1; Hunter played the full game and scored a goal.
